Two of my jeans have developed holes in the crotch. I think I’ve had them about 4 years–which is not very long for jeans that sell for £90 each. I’d expect to get at least 10 years out of them before things start splitting. And also I haven’t really used them much until now when I wear probably one per week–so my usage isn’t even that high.
Anyway split it has so I need to get it fixed. I can’t be bothered with trying to do it myself as it is way too involved and the costs associated with getting the kit to do it is just not worth it. I could see if a friend could do it but again, there’s cost of money and time involved. I’ll just send it to a tailor online who can fix it. Looks like the costs will land around £45 per jean.
