Spending Performance: 1 November 2021

Well here we are again. The beginning of a new month.

A chance for a fresh start; to put the old behind and embrace the new.

October was a shocking month spending-wise. I won’t go into much right now but I will do a full retrospective later.

Right now, it’s good to see that we’ve started November in the green on day one.

Of course we’ve got the whole month ahead of us but let’s be appreciative whilst we can.

I should also say that having just done this month’s budget – there is absolutely no fat in it at all. In fact, I have under-budgeted for some things and remain slightly sceptical of whether this budget is actually feasible.

I’m going to have to take time to go back over the numbers, cut expenses where I can and see what I can miss out on to make things work.

It’s my most tight budget since the start of the year so I’m really going to have to be disciplined to pull this of.

As always, the proof will be in the eating. Let’s go November!
