Today was a good day.
I spent only £55.72 which was on petrol going out with friends. Glad to be still under budget. For a weekend expenditure, that is not a bad result for Saturday.
As you can see from the below comparison with last month’s performance, I am below where I was this time last month.
What this chart means is that on the 9th of last month, I had spent 52% of my budget; compared to today where I’ve only spent 36% of budget—another indication that this month may be going better than last month. Of course that can completely change with a couple of planned expenses that I have coming up; but for at least for now, as of today, it’s a good indication that I’m doing well so far.
