I have written about this before but keep making the same mistake.
If you’re going out to eat, make sure you’ve checked the menu and know the prices otherwise you will end up at the restaurant ordering food with friends and end up with a massive bill at the end which you could have avoided with a little research beforehand.
The best thing to do is have a look for the menu online and if it looks like the food you might order will be too expensive, then look for a cheaper place to eating. Spending £120 for two people at this stage in the game is unacceptable. It just takes funding away from other important projects and commitments I have. I cannot afford to do it.
